Flyboard Air inventor Franky Zapata set a world hoverboard record by flying 2252 metres in three minutes. His hoverboard’s jet turbines develop 160N of thrust, burning 5.6 litres of kerosene a minute and taking the rider to a top speed of 150km/h and a maximum altitude of 3000 metres.
