Liverpool, England – Brazil midfielder Lucas Leiva has resumed full training with Liverpool after being sidelined since August with a right thigh injury.

Liverpool hosts Wigan on Saturday, and although that will be too early for Lucas to play, he could make his comeback against Swiss side Young Boys in the Europa League on November 22.

The player took to Twitter to say he is “Happy to be back and feeling good”, adding “I hope I will be available soon”.

In his absence, Liverpool has had a disappointing season and is 13th in the Premier League.
