Johannesburg - The Sharks and the Cheetahs will face off for a place in the last four of the Currie Cup competition when the teams clash at the Free State Rugby Stadium on Saturday.

With the Cheetahs two points ahead of the Sharks on the log, a victory will ensure the Durban-based side finish fourth on the log. With the Golden Lions guaranteed to finish at the summit of the table, a victory this weekend would see the Sharks visiting Ellis Park to take on the form team of this year's competition in the semi-finals.

After far from perfect Currie Cup competition, the Sharks still have a fighting chance to bring the Cup back to Durban, although this will be no easy task with potential three difficult away games still ahead of them. - ANA
