Cape Town – JP Duminy has been dropped from the Proteas side for the final and series-deciding One Day International against England at Newlands on Sunday.

Duminy, who hasn’t been in the best of form of late, has made way for another left-hander in Rilee Rossouw in the South African middle-order, after captain AB de Villiers won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The series is locked at 2-2 after four matches, and a capacity crowd at Newlands will hope that the Proteas can clinch their third consecutive victory after being 2-0 down in the series.

England remained unchanged from the side that lost by one wicket in a thrilling encounter at the Wanderers on Friday night, where Chris Morris played the innings of his life smashing 62 off 38 balls to win the match for the Proteas and claim the man-of-the-match award.

TEAMS FOR NEWLANDS

South Africa: Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers (captain), Rilee Rossouw, Farhaan Behardien, David Wiese, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Kyle Abbott, Imran Tahir.
