Pretoria – A 75-year-old man was shot dead in Pretoria on Wednesday morning, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Athlenda Mathe said that when paramedics arrived at the Mamelodi house they found the man lying in his bathroom, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body.
He was declared dead at the scene and police are investigating the shooting, which happened at about 7.30 am.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.
