A second suspect is behind bars after handing himself over to police for the murder of a well-known Mitchells Plain pub owner.
The man walked into Mitchells Plain Police Station on Wednesday and allegedly told cops he took part in the murder of Calvin “Kabollie” Goliath, 65.
Calvin was the owner of Premium Sports Bar and Dagbreek Liquors in Westridge, whose life was senselessly snuffed out last Thursday.

The suspect is expected to make his first appearance today at the Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The first suspect, Donald Conrad, 37, was arrested in Mitchells Plain on Saturday after a community member piemped him and identified him as the suspected killer of Conrad.
Cops also seized a VW Golf MK2 which they believe was used during the murder.
During his court appearance on Monday, it emerged that Conrad had confessed to robbing Calvin and shooting him.
He may also face a charge of robbery with aggravating circumstances because a weapon had been used.
He is expected to be back in court on June 13 for his formal bail application.
Mitchells Plain Cluster Commander, Major-General Gregory Goss says a third suspect is still being sought by police.
“A second suspect in the pub owner’s murder case handed himself over to police on Wednesday,” says Goss.
“We are looking for a third suspect as well as the murder weapon.”
Calvin’s son, William Goliath, 30, says the family is very happy with police’s swift action in the case.
“This is very good police work and we say well done to police,” he says.
“We are aware the second person has been arrested.”
William says his father will be laid to rest on Saturday.
The church service and viewing will begin at 8.30am at Christ the Redeemer Church in Westridge, followed by a private cremation.
Calvin had been sitting inside his car and was about to open his business at 8am when he was approached by two armed men.
One of the men shot him while the other robbed him.
A motorist who had been passing by and saw Goliath being robbed opened fire with his own gun and a shoot-out ensued.
The robbers got away in the red VW Golf.
Calvin’s daughter-in-law who also works at the pub found him bleeding on the pavement.
