But, no, this isn’t a new It-bag — it’s Nails Inc’s new £19 (about R250) leather-effect nail varnish. The set contains a black, tan or beige polish and four diamanté skull stickers to put on as decorations. The frenzy started after Alexa Chung wore the varnish to the British Fashion Awards. Of the colours, black is the most chic and goes on smoothly. When it dries, its matte sheen does look like leather, but the skulls are best less left off if you’re over 18.
